Majority of a new build is in the labour and building processes over and above the materials, with the Habitat Housing modular sizing and prefab panels, we cut down that time significantly and include the benefits of a sustainable home and reducing waste.

Week 1
The build begins with Wildboar foundations, cassette floor, prefab wall panels, interior framing and trusses install.

Week 2
Roofing and joinery completed which puts the Habitat Houses weathertight in just 7 working days!

Cavity batten installed and the start of cladding.
​​​
Week 3 & 4
Interior work had started this week with insulation, GIB and doors while the cladding install finishes up.

Week 5
Exterior painting completed and scaffold brought down for the next stages.
​​​
Week 6 & 7
Kitchen, wardrobes and painting the interior. Extension of the Wildboar footings and decking is well underway.

Week 8
A week of finishing touches on the Emerald Showhome, ready to open!
